Hey Rachel, Thanks so much for this awesome list! I’m off to Rajasthan for a month in April and getting so excited! I’m so relieved you said to not be afraid of the street food! So many people have told me to avoid it, but I live in Thailand and couldn’t imagine what people miss out on when they avoid the street food here! Thanks!! :)

We have been in Nepal for nearly 3 months, sadly is time to move on. We are heading to India! Your post besides being VERY informative is so honest. Thank you!
A lot of things that you talked about, we already experienced here in Kathmandu and in Suva (Capital of Fiji). So I guess we are kind of prepared. I hope!!!

Going through your articles about India. Honestly we cannot wait to visit.

I enjoy reading your blog from time to time.
Can I ask you, what do you do besides travelling, I assume it gets boring after a while? And exspecially how do you deal with constant changes around you and I also guess that it’s not easy to make friends at this point?

I’m planning on moving to Goa for a long while. Just working on getting my fur babies there safely and having a home where they will be secure from the other animals. :-)

Hi Tanya,

I don’t know the charter services, just that they exist haha sorry!

For dogs, it is possible but I think that when you go back to UK you have to put them in quarantine. I would not recommend this at all. I would not bring them unless you are moving to Goa. There is such risk of dog bites, them running away with all the firecracks and cows distracting them, rabies, snake bites, etc I would not do it!

I appreciate all of your helpful information. As an American tourist, I was fortunate enough to visit Anjuna Beach in Goa during May of this year, and I loved it.
Now, I’m planning a longer trip back to Goa and was wondering about bringing my 2 dogs. I am seeking to rent a house with enclosed yard for the pups. If you have any suggestions on the best international transportation for the animals, I would appreciate it. I noticed you mentioned getting a good rate on a charter plane from Manchester UK. That may be a good option, and if you have info on a reasonable charter service, please let us know.
