Hi Rachel, I live in Bandung and thanks for the interesting article about it. I need to ask you something that’s nothing to do with Bandung, are you still in Goa ? I went there in 2002 & planned to buy a bell that chymed in a long time but someone said I was a fool to buy it there n better to buy it in New Delhi etc but I never found it anymore until today. Just a favor, can you see if it’s still there? I think it was a souvenir shop of a hotel. Thanks Rachel

These were actually taken from my phone – it’s an MI which is a very cheap phone here in India about $150 USD! But now, I’ve upgraded to a real camera ever since my Israel trip.

Ohhh bandung! I went there for shopping when I was living in Jakarta, and promised myself I would come back to explore around. And never did! It’s nice to discover your post. :)

Hey Rachel, thank you for sharing must visit places in Bandung. Kawah Ratu and Kawah Putih are two attractions that I totally can see myself visiting one day.

We just got back from Jakarta, and we were mesmerized by the country as a whole through its museums. They make us want us explore the rest of Indonesia one day.

I noticed you were in Bandung on a press trip so transportation wouldn’t have been a problem for you. But do you think it is easy to hire a driver or taxi to bring us around?

Thanks again for highlighting these attractions. I’ll be sharing this on Twitter because I’m pretty sure many people miss Bandung when they travel to Indonesia. :)
