Good idea withe the shoes. My first time abroad I only brought cute leather flip flops that couldn’t get wet and had no shower shoes :/

I only have 6 or 7 kgs of clothes and shoes but I make up for my prudence by traveling with my favourite make up and face moisturiser. I have the skin of a 90 year old and I love lipstick. I was traveling with false lashes for a a while when I had wedding to go to.
And I have t-strap havianas that are a god send. Fancy enough to go out dancing but jellies for the shower.

There’s no need to go out and do some massive year-long trip around the world if you don’t want to – start with a few weeks in a smaller area. When you’re older, if you think you might look back and kick yourself for not taking the jump, you probably will!”
That definitely is the right mindset to take. Looking back and not taking the jump? Wouldn’t wanna be that guy :)
