Goa is always my favorite destination and no matter how much I travel to this place, I would never get bored. This air in this place is something different and will make you to visit again and again. The white sand beaches and the super comfortable resorts make my day. Visiting Goa with friends has its own charm. The cool part of this amazing place is, you could get great hotels and resorts to stay in a very affordable price. Anyways, thanks for your suggestions and this beautiful blog post.

Hi Calle, I think it depends on where you go – I go to vagator beach and it’s full of western tourists and as for nightlife there are places that are “on” and that’s where everyone will be, you can check wug.com to see where the parties are :)

We are in goa right now in Anjuna and are a bit surprised of the lack of people here.we asked the locals as well and nobody seem to know where all the tourists are. Do you have any clue because right now I can count the western tourists I meet on one day to maybe 40 , a little bit weird

I stayed at Roadhouse while i was in Goa this february. I had an amazing stay,i planned to stay 3-4days and ended up staying 9 because the vibe was awesome there. The people who run it always help you but at the same time they are also with you,they are your friends. They took us to parties,beaches or we were just hanging out at the hostel. Had lots of fun! And there is the best breakfast place Mango Shade right next them. Oh,and the artwork is amazing around the place. :)
Ps: They just opened a new Roadhouse in Jaipur ;)

In reply to Tim UrbanDuniya. Yeah it is a bitch of a drive for the beach from there. Usually when friends stay with me, I take them on a day trip to Panjim . and I myself go just for the cinema and for errands, but its a very cute city!

Looks like Anjuna is the place to be! I stayed in Panjim when I was there a few years ago, and it was ok… I liked the cultural side of things, but getting to the beach and so on wasn’t easy…

This is near Margao and is 500 km to the beach (so walkable, but a little far).

If you show up in peak season you’ll see people don’t want to negotiate AT ALL because places do feel up.

What about South Goa? Agonda/Palolem? You can get beach huts there at just 500 or 800 ;)
