Buying a car and planning to use it for sometime. Would it be okay to drive here using Indian driving license or there are chances of getting caught by a police for not having a local license ?

Hey Kay! Yes, I think that they, first of all, DO make us park in a tiny space so if they measure it off by just a little bit, it can quickly become impossible haha so best to say something like “how much space do you allow front and back of the car?” to let them know that you are paying attention and then they will too.

I was so disturbed that I didn’t pass parking that I got out of my car (which was off to the side and in front of the cones) and stepped off the allotted space. Heel to toe it was 19 steps.
When I got home I again stepped that off so that I could practice parking in that space and I measured my car. My 19 steps
measured 15 feet and my car is exactly 15 feet long. No was I was getting into that space. I will try again on Thursday and hope that I get fair space this time. I will at least know enough to try to check it this time. Other than that, I had a very pleasant experience.
