That sunset is awesome, absolutely awesome! Auckland and NZ in general fascinates me. We spent 4 months in Fiji last year; missed the opp to visit Kiwi Land then but we’re full time digital nomads so we can travel where we want to, when we want to….unless we’re on a house sit. Of course, we are now ;) But after our 5 months in Bali we will give NZ and Auckland a strong look as it’s one of the more awesome, beautiful countries on God’s green earth. It’s also where LOTR movies were filmed which makes it that much more important for me to visit lol.

I was in Auckland last year but so briefly for a work trip. I agree with the Langham being the best hotel in that area. I was only in the lobby for a meeting but wow! I also noticed hotels are generally great value in NZ – MUCH better than Australia in general!
