Tel Aviv is amazing and the history and landscape of the Golan Heights, as I discovered on my last trip, is truly breathtaking. Like you, I often wish people understood the depth and diversity of Israeli culture: people are more than simple political/religious categories – and there is so much modern Israel has to offer!

The prices are so high in Tel Aviv & Israel in general I don’t know how people even deal… as their wages are not that high. Rent is insane for people who live there! and yes, hostels are way higher here than even europe

I am committed to taking my mama for her 90th birthday but have to find a way to do it on a budget. I am looking into the Abraham Tours as well but I’d much prefer to be on our own.

it was wonderful,but I think we interacted more with Palestinians guides than Israelis..except at the checkpost ..where we entered into Israel from Jordan,where we left our passports..

I’m sure loads of people wuld like to visit but are nervous about the conflict. And yes, you’re absolutely right, even with that very same conflict; life goes on. People get married, have children, go to work, hang out with their friends, etc and basically, just live their lives the best way possible.
