Yes, Goa during monsoon sounds more like a taboo but backpackers or adventurous souls would definitely give it a go. Take short train trip ( from Vasco to Castlerock) traversing the verdant western ghats doted by numerous ponds by the track amid mist & drizzle is spellbinding- A hankering for the bliss!

Wow that sounds crazy! I experienced rain at the end of monsoon season in Thailand and was blown away. The locals told me it wasn’t even the worst of it but I had never seen rain like that in my life and I’m from the New England coast where we get some nasty hurricanes!

I am little bit off in luck in dis thing as rain is on and off here in Chennai
Wish I could have Goa or Mumbai typo rains here

Nice! Monsoon in Goa sounds much worse than Rajasthan. The monsoon has started here, but it does not rain everyday or for long. It has only rained substantial once and it was over night. Luckily, I did not loose power at my place. I do wish it would rain a little more, it cools everything off. It is hot up here in Rajasthan.
