Welcome back to This is India! I always have funny/weird stories about India to share with friends or family when I talk to them. This is just meant to be an honest portrayal about my life in India through short anecdotes. I also share here what I’ve been up to online outside Hippie in Heels.
What I was up to other than here:
- I’m home I’m home! In Ohio that is. Poor Ben is in Goa working his ass off on tons of important reef business and training our insane dog to be a decent little beach dog while I’m gone.
- Ok now for stuff I’ve been up to in the blogging internet world… India Times wrote an article about 7 bloggers from overseas who traveled to India and loved it and I was one of them. Also, I wrote a guide for Goa here. Holidify made a list of the top travel bloggers in India and I was listed (woohoo) and the thing I’m most excited about: being #37 on this list of top 100 female travel bloggers based on traffic to the site.
Now your story,
Living in the “jungle” bring little.. and BIG… jungle creatures. This video was taken by our friend Ryance just outside our house. Super! Oh and MOM: don’t watch this unless you want to pass out lol
In case you’re wondering what to do if you see a python: you should call animal rescue because these 8 foot pythons need to be taken further out into the jungle or locals may kill them.
This is India!
